As Spidey valiantly seeks to fend off the resurrected Mad Titan, an unexpected alliance forms when Thor, Groot, and Rocket arrive. Wanda Maximoff, now crowned ‘Queen of the Dead’, orchestrates an army of undead to reclaim her world, leading to a poignant interaction with Kamala and ultimately, a haunting climax. As the narrative twists, Wanda implores, “I’m too strong for you, Kamala… You’ll help me bring them all back…” With brains, friendship, and heartbreak at stake, Kamala capitulates, setting off a chain of events that leads to a disorienting finale.
As the episode concludes, Kamala finds herself in a fabricated reality, blissfully sipping boba tea with friends, only to have chilling reminders of the ongoing zombie apocalypse intrude her consciousness. The finale is a thought-provoking horror, culminating in a stark reminder that the struggle against despair is ongoing and concludes with an unprecedented cliffhanger, leaving fans clamoring for a second season.
