As a result of a threatening post towards one of IVE’s members, Jang Won-young, the agency has decided to increase security measures and pursue legal action.

The agency revealed that a post had been discovered on a community forum the day before, posing a threat to the safety of Jang Won-young. The post contained specific details about the alleged threat and was immediately reported to the authorities.

Starship Entertainment reaffirmed their dedication to the safety and well-being of their artists and emphasized their determination to take prompt action.

The agency has advised law enforcement to conduct a comprehensive investigation to determine the person responsible for the threatening post. Furthermore, they have increased their security staff and are reviewing security procedures for all aspects of their artists’ lives, such as travel routes, office locations, and lodging arrangements.

“We have requested swift investigation and protection for the artist’s safety, and we plan to take legal action as soon as the identity of the individual is revealed. To ensure the safety of our artists, we have reinforced professional security personnel and are reevaluating security measures for their travel routes, the office building and accommodation,”stated a representative from Starship Entertainment.
