Tourists Accidentally Release 2,000 Moths Into Hotel Room, Sparking Horror.

Two British tourists were shocked when they unintentionally allowed over 2,000 moths to take over their hotel room in Thailand.

TikToker Jemma Sayer posted a video that quickly went viral, capturing the alarming sight of thousands of insects swarming around their bed and mosquito netting at the well-known tourist destination of Pai.

She wrote in the text overlay, “As you check into your hotel and open the door at night, be aware that a killer snake may launch at you and over 2,000 moths may fly in.”

The hotel employee was using a headlamp and bat to survey the room as moths fluttered around. In a subsequent video, Sayer clarified that she and her friend had already checked into their hotel room and noticed the insects entering through a gap by the door.

Despite their attempts to block the crack with a towel, Sayer recounted that when they opened the door, a cobra attacked them and over 2,000 moths swarmed into their room.

In the comments, she clarified, “We didn’t intentionally leave the door wide open. We only opened it for a brief moment to step outside, and that’s when a swarm of moths and a snake managed to enter our room.”

Since its initial release, the original clip has accumulated a staggering 7.5 million views and over 501,000 likes. The terrifying video has caused TikTok users to become extremely unsettled, as one individual commented: “I would immediately book the next flight back home.”

One person commented, “I can’t believe you guys are still in that room,”to which the creator responded, “We didn’t have a choice. We had to quickly pack up and leave.”

Another viewer chimed in, saying, “I would have been screaming, crying, throwing up, and running out of there.”

Fortunately, the hotel promptly relocated Sayer and her friend to another room. “We were given an upgrade, but needless to say, we didn’t get much rest that night,”the TikToker recounted.
