Despite some intriguing developments in the first half of the episode, the latter half primarily revolved around Makoto and his followers having a good time at the Academy Festival. While no major events occurred, the episode served as a break for the characters, allowing them to fully indulge in the festivities.

Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy’s 13th episode of the second season opened with Makoto Misumi and his faithful companion Shiki exploring the bustling city. They observed that the citizens of Rotsgard were even more occupied than usual, as the highly anticipated Academy Festival was just about to commence.
The festival typically spanned a full week, attracting visitors from distant locations to the city. Makoto believed it embodied the city’s vibrant essence more than any other event. As Shiki described the customary festivities, he hoped that this year would be free of any unfortunate incidents.
The Temple’s Agreement: Makoto and Shiki’s Negotiation
During the festival, Shiki and Makoto were going over the inventory of their shop when a temple priest named Shinai approached Makoto to discuss the medicines being sold in their shop.
Shinai reported that there were rumors circulating in the city regarding the medicines sold at Makoto’s shop. It was believed by many that these medicines were surprisingly effective for their low price. In order to dispel these rumors, Shinai suggested that the temple assist Makoto by having him disclose the production methods of his medicines to the priest.
Although the proposal did strike Makoto as odd, he agreed to it fairly quickly, which left the priest feeling a bit surprised. However, they were able to come to a satisfactory agreement and set a date for Makoto to visit the temple.

As Makoto and Shiki made their way to the temple, they were welcomed by a bishop and several other priests. The bishop promised that the temple would make every effort to dispel the rumors surrounding Makoto’s shop and, if feasible, offer a solution for his speech impediment.
Following Makoto’s disclosure of his production methods to the priests, Shinai pulled him aside to ask him a few questions. Although the conversation initially seemed like casual small talk, Makoto couldn’t shake off the feeling that it was more of an interrogation, given the nature of Shinai’s inquiries.
After Makoto and Shiki left the temple, the bishop and priests were overheard discussing their suspicions about Makoto’s true intentions. The bishop quickly came to the conclusion that Makoto was hiding his true strength, as evidenced by his ability to resist the temple’s attempts to probe his mind and mana.
Additionally, the techniques for producing medicine shared by Makoto were also flawed. Given the temple’s current capabilities, their priests would only have a 50% chance of successfully replicating the medicines. Although this revelation did surprise them, they ultimately believed that Makoto could potentially become their secret weapon in the future.
Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy: The Assassin’s Guild’s Target
After scolding Eris and Jin for their lack of productivity, Makoto began his delivery rounds. As he made his way, he spotted a group of enigmatic individuals following him. While he initially chose to ignore them, they eventually confronted him as he entered a narrow alley. However, Makoto quickly handled the situation with ease.
While relieving his stress through target practice, he encountered Tomoe, who updated him on her investigation into the demiplane’s climate.

Despite their medicines selling out within a few hours on the first day of the festival, Makoto and his followers still made the most of their evening by indulging in various foods from different shops and bars.
The characters were enjoying each other’s company, as they explored various restaurants and experimented with unique food combinations.
Final Moments of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Episode 13
As the episode drew to a close, the officials from Laurel and Limia finally came face to face. The purpose of their meeting was for Laurel to reclaim their priestess from Limia. However, the negotiations did not go according to plan. The officials of Laurel stated that they could not simply return the priestess to her former nation, especially since she had willingly supported the hero of Limia.
Elsewhere, Makoto and his followers were observed strolling through the festival, determined to try out more eateries and make the most of their enjoyable evening. As a result, the episode concluded.
