Twitch has issued a ban to Danil “donk”Kryshkovets, the renowned Counter-Strike 2 player and member of Team Spirit’s rifling squad.
At just 17 years old, CS2 star donk is a rising star in the world of CS:GO. With an impressive IEM title under his belt, he made a splash on the scene in late 2023 after being promoted from the Team Spirit Academy team. He played a crucial role in leading the Russian team to victory at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai trophy in December 2023, followed by another win at the IEM Katowice Cup in February 2024.
From a young age, the player has been open about his long history of playing the game and creating additional online accounts. However, on May 7, the player disclosed that his Twitch account was banned, acknowledging that he had created the account at a young age.
“Donk shared on social media that he was banned from Twitch for creating an account before reaching the minimum age of 13.”

As stated in Twitch’s guidelines, individuals must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
The player’s post regarding the ban received an outpouring of support from fans offering condolences, urging for #Freedonk, and suggesting a switch to competitor streaming platform Kick.
The prohibition was imposed slightly more than one month after the player’s previous tournament appearance. In March, Team Spirit achieved a top eight position at the PGL Copenhagen Major, but were eliminated in the first round of the playoff stage by FaZe Clan. Donk and his team are scheduled to participate in the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade event in May.
This article will continue to be updated as additional information is revealed, or in the event that the ban is lifted.
