Twitch streamer speechless after cop reveals he’s a fan during IRL stream

Twitch streamer ‘ARIatHOME’ was live streaming on the streets of New York City when he was unexpectedly approached by an NYPD officer who happened to be a fan of his. This encounter left Ari feeling surprised and taken aback.

ARIatHOME has gained recognition on Twitch for his music, just chatting, and IRL broadcasts, amassing nearly 100,000 followers.

On May 18, 2024, the streamer ventured onto the streets of New York City to broadcast himself and a friend making beats while strolling along the sidewalk. He had a keyboard, tablet, and a variety of other musical equipment strapped to him.

Ari’s broadcast was suddenly disrupted by the sudden appearance of a police officer who seemed to be observing him from a distance. Concerned that they may have done something wrong, Ari and his friend cautiously approached the officer, only to be left speechless when they discovered that the man was actually one of Ari’s Twitch followers.

Ari exclaimed, “Wow! No way!”She continued, “It’s a pleasure to meet you! Someone was trying to get my attention, saying, ‘Hey, there are cops behind you!’”

The officer further elaborated that he had been monitoring the stream while they were at a prior location, and had taken the opportunity to stop by and greet them.

Ari shared that his initial belief was that the officer would ask him to leave the area, which could potentially result in the broadcast coming to an abrupt halt.

Upon learning that the police officer was not there to stop the stream, viewers in the chat became excited about the interaction. One person commented, “I can’t believe it!”Another exclaimed, “Oh my goodness!”

Over the years, while IRL streaming, streamers have been approached by fans of all types, and numerous viral moments have spread across social media.

In April, Erobb was in his car when a fan approached him and sprayed him with silly string. JakeNBake, known for his popular IRL streams, was also a victim of stream sniper CoolSlick during his trip to Japan in 2022.
