Complete Cast and Release Date Announced for Elden Ring Movie

Filming for Alex Garland’s highly anticipated movie adaptation of Elden Ring has officially commenced. A24, in collaboration with Bandai Namco, has just unveiled the cast and the project’s release date, generating significant excitement among fans and gamers alike.

In recent years, the long-standing “video game movie curse”has been challenged by successful titles such as The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Sonic the Hedgehog, and The Minecraft Movie. Now, A24 aims to claim its own success with this ambitious film that brings the beloved universe of Elden Ring to life.

This Edlen Ring project is both written and directed by the esteemed Alex Garland, whose directorial accolades include thought-provoking films like 28 Days Later, Annihilation, Ex Machina, and Dredd, showcasing his talent for crafting compelling narratives.

The Elden Ring film is slated to premiere on March 3, 2028. Bandai Namco has confirmed that a stellar ensemble will be taking on roles to depict the intricate world of the Lands Between.

Among the cast, we have Cailee Spaeny, known for her portrayal of the determined journalist Jessie in Garland’s Civil War, and her lead role in Alien: Romulus. Additionally, Kit Conor, who previously collaborated with Garland on Warfare, joins actors like Ben Whishaw from Paddington and Black Doves.

Garland is also partnering again with Sonoya Mizuno, a staple in his previous works including Ex Machina and Annihilation. The complete cast includes:
