Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Developers Apologize for Steam Launch Issues and Commit to Fixes

In light of escalating dissatisfaction among players, the developers of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers have addressed significant concerns following the game’s challenging launch on PC.

Upon its release, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers faced serious technical difficulties, resulting in a surge of negative feedback from the gaming community. Currently, it holds a Mostly Negative rating on Steam, with over 37, 000 user reviews highlighting issues including subpar performance, various bugs, and unfulfilled pre-order rewards.

In an effort to rectify these issues, developer Leenzee and publisher 505 Games released a statement on the official Steam page, acknowledging player grievances and assuring that solutions are underway.

Commitment to Performance Enhancements

The development team expressed, “We are confident in the game’s performance within our recommended spec, but we’re working on optimization. We are looking to issue a patch as soon as we can.” This commitment reflects their dedication to improving the player experience.

Players experiencing challenges have been advised to adjust in-game settings, as detailed in the official FAQ. This resource aims to assist players in mitigating issues and encourages them to submit support tickets to facilitate quicker problem identification.

Additionally, the developers acknowledged a significant bug in the reward distribution system, which hindered several players from receiving their correct pre-order items for both the Standard and Deluxe editions.

As a gesture of goodwill, all Steam purchasers of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will be granted a complimentary digital copy of the game’s original soundtrack. Refunds will also be issued to those who previously bought the soundtrack separately.

Moreover, the team plans to include a brand-new exclusive costume for Deluxe Edition owners in an upcoming update. However, they caution that this implementation may require some time.

“We are fully committed to investigating and resolving these issues as quickly as possible, ” the developers stated.“Our team is prioritizing these problems at the highest level… We sincerely ask for your patience, understanding, and support during this process.”
