Acquiring blueprints for essential recipes remains one of the primary challenges in ARC Raiders. While obtaining these blueprints can often feel like a gamble, there are strategic approaches that can increase your odds of success.

In ARC Raiders, blueprints can be obtained through various means. You can find them inside specific container types, earn them through quests, receive them as player level rewards, or acquire them from events and trials. However, the blueprint drops tend to be random, adding an element of unpredictability.

For example, blueprints like Equalizer and Jupiter have a notably high drop rate from the Harvester, while items such as Anvil and Bettina might emerge from more random containers. This highlights the contrast between certain predetermined loot pools and exclusively available blueprints attainable only during specific events.

To enhance your chances of securing these valuable blueprints, it’s best to focus on looting high-value areas. Target weapon cases, ammo boxes, raider caches, backpack containers, and other unique containers that may yield higher-tier loot. Additionally, interacting with ARC Surveyors can also lead you to blueprints, while participating in events like the Hidden Bunker can provide further opportunities. Don’t overlook locked rooms that require keys—these areas often hold significant rewards.

Top Looting Strategies for Blueprints

While the methods of obtaining blueprints may seem extensive and overwhelming, concentrating on the following strategies and loot containers will serve you well:

Method Recommended Locations
Looting Locked Rooms Any epic-level key will do, but focus on all locked rooms.
Security Breach Lockers (requires 36 Survival Points) Santa Maria Houses and The Red Tower (Buried City)
Weapon Cases and Ammo Boxes Flooded Gates room (with one security breach) or adjacent apartments north of Grandioso Apartments.
Farming ARC Surveyors Dam Battlegrounds.
Blue and Red Lockers 1st floor of the Departure Building in Spaceport or Hospital in Buried City.
Looting Containers in High-Value Areas Locations marked in red, such as Space Travel, Research and Administration.

While countless methods exist, it’s beneficial to combine several strategies for optimal results in your search for blueprints. Conducting raids during nighttime not only nets you additional blueprints but also introduces the possibility of acquiring rarer types.

From personal experience, focusing on security breaches during nighttime raids proves to be highly effective. I often manage to secure at least one blueprint from raids by efficiently opening 3-4 security breach lockers and looting various items in the process. My preferred approach involves going solo with Looting Mk.2s, targeting key locations like the Santa Maria Houses and the Red Tower for uninterrupted access to containers, cabinets, lockers, servers, and drawers. If nighttime raid events are available, I strategically switch my focus to capitalize on those.”

For players without access to security breaches (36 points in survival skills), I recommend attempting locked rooms, provided you have the keys. In the absence of these, prioritize night raids while targeting weapon cases, ammo boxes, and raider caches.
