The second region of Mariana’s Veil, known as Challenger’s Deep, is enveloped in ice due to its extreme depths. However, to explore even further into this frigid abyss, players must acquire the next upgrade for their submarine.
Locating the Cryoskin in Fisch
The Cryoskin is categorized as part of the Challenger’s Deep Bestiary. To access Challenger’s Deep, players must first obtain the Heat upgrade. Collecting the Inferno Hide, which is essential for your journey, can prove challenging without the appropriate rods and bait; however, once secured, you can delve into the subsequent area.
Upon exiting the submarine, proceed along the forward path, bypassing the tent and the teleportation point back to the surface. You will arrive at a pool designated for fishing (not the initial pool where you dock).The walk along this trail is extended, so take the time to ponder your next move. Look out for the Challenger’s Rod at (740, -3350, -1530), marking your arrival in the right fishing location.
The Cryoskin is classified as a Common fish, and acquiring it should follow a similar strategy as gathering the Inferno Hide. Equip the Garbage bait on one of your least effective rods to minimize your luck in fishing. Be sure to remove the bait after you successfully catch the Cryoskin, or you might end up frustratingly attempting to secure the elusive Frozen Leviathan, a mistake I learned the hard way.

The Cryoskin is one of the four essential items required for crafting the Ice upgrade for your submarine. To explore deeper into Mariana’s Veil, it is imperative to gather all these items.
Once you have successfully fished all necessary components, return to your initial arrival point and craft both the Ice Upgrade and the Glimmerfin Suit Lvl2. These upgrades will allow you to venture into the Abyssal Zenith.
