To obtain the Gold Armor in The Tomb, players must follow a detailed procedure that begins with accessing the Dark Aether area. Begin this quest by purchasing doors and activating the portal to set the stage for your endeavor.

Inside the Dark Aether, you’ll find two crates. The first is located near the Juggernog machine and ammo refill station, while the second can be spotted by the green portal among some rubble. Open these crates by hitting them repeatedly until you discover a statue head in each. Collect these two heads and head back to the initial spawn area.

Next, interact with the two statues at the spawn area to place the retrieved heads onto their respective structures. One statue is situated near the PhD Flopper perk machine, and the other is close to the entrance of the blue portal.

Once both statues are activated, players must complete a significant challenge known as the Blood Ritual. This ritual envelops the area in a bright red mist, reduces players’ health to a precarious one HP, and releases a wave of three Elite Mimics or Doppelghasts (five in co-op mode) that you’ll need to defeat.

Be prepared, as these battles can be quite daunting. It’s essential to bring along a fully upgraded Pack-a-Punched weapon at Legendary rarity, Tier 3 armor, and as many perks as you can acquire. Useful items such as the Kill Joy and Idle Eyes GobbleGums can significantly enhance your chances of survival. The Kill Joy GobbleGum provides a damage boost, while Idle Eyes temporarily freezes enemies for a critical 30 seconds.

After successfully completing both rituals, the coveted Gold Armor vest will appear at the top of the spawn area, adjacent to the wall map and Pack-a-Punch machine. This remarkable vest will automatically replenish your armor plates over time and is available to all players participating in the session at no cost.
