To unlock John Morris, players must focus on evolving four specific weapons: Raging Fire, Ice Fang, Gale Force, and Rock Riot. Notably, this challenge is not limited to a single game session; you can complete it across multiple runs. Upon evolving the fourth weapon, John Morris will become available to you.

How to Obtain and Evolve Raging Fire

The Raging Fire weapon is the default arsenal of Charlotte Aulin, who can be unlocked by discovering seven Mirrors of Truth scattered throughout the map after successfully navigating through the Capra Gate.

To evolve Raging Fire into its next form, players must combine it with the Spinach passive at its maximum level, resulting in the powerful Salamender weapon.

Players can acquire the Ice Fang weapon by defeating Brachyura located in the stairwell area of the Ode to Castlevania stage, specifically in the red boss circle south of the warp gate. Ice Fang is also the starting weapon for Sypha Belnades, who can be unlocked by beating Slogra and Gaibon with Grant Danasty.

For those looking to evolve Ice Fang, pairing it with the Spellbinder passive at its maximum level will transform it into the formidable Cocytus weapon.

Additionally, it serves as the default weapon for Julia Laforeze, who can be unlocked by evolving the Globus weapon (initially used by Saint Germain) with a max-level Empty Tome.

To evolve Gale Force, players need to combine it with the Bracer passive when it’s maxed out, changing it to Pneuma Tempestas.

Rock Riot is acquired by defeating Behemoth in the starting area of the Ode to Castlevania stage, specifically at the red boss circle just north of the spawn point. It serves as the initial weapon for Carrie Fernandez, who can be unlocked by evolving the Custos Glyphs weapon used by Cornell after leveling three specific weapons to their maximum capacity.

For evolution, Rock Riot must be paired with the Stone Mask passive when at max level, resulting in the Gemma Torpor weapon.

By successfully unlocking and evolving these weapons, players will open the door to playing as John Morris, enriching their Vampire Survivors experience.
