Unlocking the AMR Mod 4 in Black Ops 6 and Warzone: A Step-by-Step Guide

The AMR Mod 4 represents an exciting addition to the arsenal in Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded. However, unlocking this powerful Sniper Rifle requires some effort from players.

Each significant update introduces a plethora of new weapons to Warzone and Black Ops 6, and the mid-season update for Season 1 continues this tradition. While the Malestrom Shotgun excels in close-quarter combat, it’s the AMR Mod 4 that has piqued player interest the most.

Notably, this latest firearm is not part of the Season 1 Battle Pass. Here’s how you can add the AMR Mod 4 Sniper Rifle to your collection in both games.

To unlock the AMR Mod 4, players will participate in the Archie’s Festival Frenzie event, which is scheduled from December 19 to January 3. Thus, the Sniper Rifle will not be available immediately when Season 1 Reloaded launches on December 5.

Once the event begins, you must collect Jolly Archies to open 12 presents in the events tab. Jolly Archies can be obtained by achieving kills in multiplayer modes, completing objectives in Zombies, or finding Supply Caches in Warzone.

There’s no additional requirement to unlock the sniper; just ensure to claim your presents as you progress to earn rewards until the AMR Mod 4 becomes accessible.

If by January you haven’t secured the AMR Mod 4, don’t lose hope; it’s expected to be included in the Armory later on, providing another opportunity for players to unlock this weapon.

The AMR Mod 4 is indeed worth the effort to acquire. This semi-automatic rifle has the capacity to eliminate players with a single shot to the chest in multiplayer engagements.

According to the developers’ pre-release blog, “Down enemies fast with this powerful Sniper Rifle providing a one-shot elimination across the upper body without accounting for armor. Its high damage is balanced by slow aim speed and heavy recoil, though these drawbacks can be mitigated with the right attachments. No matter how it’s customized, this weapon guarantees to deliver powerful hits.”

Although its one-shot potential does not translate to Warzone, its rapid rate of fire allows for quick follow-up shots, which can make it a formidable choice in the Battle Royale setting.

While you await the release of the AMR Mod 4, consider engaging with ongoing events such as GobbleGum Mania in Zombies and Merry Mayhem in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.
