After fulfilling these requirements, ensure that you have installed the Mysteries of Skull Rock update. Note that you might need to wait some time for the quest to become available after downloading it; in our experience, it took about 45 minutes.
Once these prerequisites are completed, a new quest titled “The Forgotten Name” will pop up in your quest log. During this quest, you will need to interact with The Forgotten, venture to Skull Rock, and choose a new name for them. This will mark the end of the recruitment process.

- Engage them in conversation; they will mention discovering a feather near Skull Rock and will ask for your assistance in investigating it.
- Travel to Skull Rock by heading to Dazzle Beach and crossing over into Skull Rock Cave.
- Upon your arrival, you will meet them at the cave location.
- Finally, you will choose a name for The Forgotten.
Following the naming process, a touching cutscene will play, officially welcoming The Forgotten as a new villager in your Valley.
