The latest update for Vampire Survivors, version 1.10, has been released, featuring new unlockable content just in time for the upcoming Operation Guns DLC. Among the new additions is a brand new stage, the Laborratory. Here is a guide on how to unlock this new stage in Vampire Survivors.
How to Get the Laboratory Stage in Vampire Survivors
The Laboratory Stage in Vampire Survivors can be accessed by collecting a combined total of 33 Rosaries in the game. This can be achieved through multiple runs on various maps with any character, and does not need to be completed in a single run.
Rosaries are collectible items that can appear randomly after destroying light sources in a level, taking the form of a cross on a necklace. Upon picking up the item, it will eliminate all enemies currently on the screen.
The condition also applies retroactively to any Rosaries that were already collected prior to the update, meaning experienced players will immediately fulfill it. All you have to do is start a run, then manually exit it to fulfill the challenge and unlock the stage.
Players who have played less can still progress through the game and collect Rosaries as they unlock new features, like the Stage 54 bonus stage. However, there is a way to regularly spawn Rosaries.
To play on the Inlaid Library stage, simply use any character and follow your usual strategy. The hallway in this level is full of light sources that can be destroyed, potentially releasing Rosaries. Make sure to equip weapons that have a wide range of attack, such as those that encircle the player or cause area damage. This stage is ideal for completing challenges that do not have specific conditions, as it is compact and allows for quick XP gain through kills.
