In the highly anticipated Season 5 of Warzone, the roof of Verdansk Stadium is finally set to open, but players must navigate a series of steps to access the revamped interior.

After Verdansk made its return in Season 3, fans eagerly resumed their gameplay. However, this was not the same version of the beloved map that was removed back in 2021. The current iteration lacks key features such as the Train Station and, most notably, the inaccessible Stadium.

All of this changes in Season 5, as players will have the chance to blow off the Stadium roof, but it will require collective effort.

Steps to Access the Stadium Roof in Warzone

For players eager to demolish the Stadium roof, completing the Satellite Hijack Contract is essential. Interestingly, it only takes one team to complete it, but the event triggers only when multiple squads succeed in a single match.

This Contract is available exclusively from Thursday, August 7, to August 14, in both standard and Casual battle royale modes. After this period, the Contract will be removed, and players can explore the open Stadium permanently.

Understanding the Satellite Hijack Contract

The Satellite Hijack Contract consists of multiple objectives that will be displayed on your map at the commencement of a match. According to the Season 5 patch notes, players must complete the following tasks:

Investigate a campsite to find a decrypting tool.
If another player possesses it, eliminate them and seize the tool.
Hijack a relay module to initiate the hacking process.
Wait for the hacking operation to finish.
Enjoy the fireworks display.

Once sufficient teams complete the Contract, the Stadium will be open for exploration for the remainder of that match. However, it will revert to being closed at the start of new matches if not enough teams make the effort to open it.

Rewards for Completing the Easter Egg

Successful completion of this stadium Easter egg unlocks the Enigma Blueprint for the CR-56 AMAX, a nostalgic nod to the original Verdansk, where players hunted down keycards for rewards.

However, the Blueprint reward is not immediately granted. Players must venture inside the open Stadium and locate a Weapon Case. Holding onto this case for 60 seconds will grant the Blueprint to all squad members for the duration of the match, with the Blueprint added to your Gunsmith inventory post-game.

Developers have teased the existence of “secondary objectives” scattered throughout the venue, although specific details and potential rewards for these objectives remain unclear at this moment.
