Over the past few months, there have been numerous leaks suggesting the inclusion of a Warzone map named Avalon in the upcoming launch of Black Ops 6. It is possible that this map is already concealed within Black Ops 6.
Over the course of the past year, Warzone players have exclusively played on the Urzikstan map as the main large map, while Resurgence has featured maps such as Vondel, Rebirth Island, Fortune’s Keep, and others.
Despite previous speculation, it has been officially announced that Verdansk will make its return in Spring 2025. According to reports, the highly anticipated COD release in 2025, after Black Ops 6, will also feature a new big map called Avalon.
The reports and leaks also revealed a potential map layout, giving players a glimpse at its potential appearance.

When the leaks of Avalon first surfaced, many speculated that it would be the main map for BO6’s Warzone integration. However, with the recent announcement of Verdansk’s return, it seems unlikely that Avalon will be included, unless Raven Software plans to introduce two new large maps alongside the upcoming title developed by Treyarch.
According to the video by TheTacticalBrit, it appears that Avalon will be featured in Black Ops 6, but not in the form of a playable Warzone map.
Running around the Training Course in the Black Ops 6 beta reveals that it is one of the islands featured in the leaked information.
You can also access the map of Rebirth Island in the Training Course, offering players a new perspective on the potential layout of Avalon.
As is typical with such teases and leaks, there is always a possibility for significant changes to occur before Avalon’s anticipated release. These changes could pertain to the map, its timeline, or even its inclusion in Warzone.
If you are interested in getting an early glimpse of Avalon, it would be beneficial to explore the Training Course to see the potential the map may have.
