ENA’s September new drama “The Day of Kidnapping”(The Day of Abduction) just premiered on September 13. Starring Yoon Kye Sang, Park Sung Hoon, child stars Yuna and Kim Shin Rok attended a press conference held at a hotel in Mapo District, Seoul.
“The Day of the Kidnapping”tells the absurd and suspenseful story of the clumsy kidnapper Kim Myung-joon (played by Yoon Kye-sang) and the clever 11-year-old genius girl Roxie (played by Yuna), who pursue the truth together.
▼Yin Kye-sang plays the clumsy but kind-hearted kidnapper Kim Myung-joon. In order to raise money for his daughter’s medical expenses, he accepted the kidnapping plan proposed by his ex-wife. However, he was involved in an unexpected murder case and was chased by the police as a suspect.
▼Park Sung-hoon plays the role of Park Sang-yoon, the criminal police officer of the Yongin Police Department’s serious crime team. He has quick judgment and calm analysis skills, and gets entangled with Kim Ming-joon when tracking the abduction incident.
▼Yuna plays the role of Choi Ro-hee, an 11-year-old genius girl who has lost her memory. She behaves beyond her age and has an extraordinary calm mind to help Kim Ming-jun overcome many crises.
▼Kim Shin-rok plays Kim Ming-jun’s ex-wife Seo Hye-eun. Three years after leaving Kim Ming-jun, she suddenly returns and proposes that he kidnap Roxie.
