Speculation arose that he might have withdrawn from filming due to the scandal; however, the production team reaffirmed that the session took place with a “minimized schedule.”This decision has led to a significant public backlash.

In response to Kim Soo-hyun’s ongoing involvement, viewers have expressed their discontent vehemently on the official “Good Day” viewer board. Within just one day, thousands of critical comments poured in. Opinions ranged from, “We don’t want to see Kim Soo-hyun on TV, ” to “I will boycott all MBC variety shows, news, or dramas, ” reflecting a widespread sentiment against the star’s presence on the show. Some even demanded the cancellation of the program and leveled accusations against the show’s producer, Kim Tae-ho, questioning his ethical standards with comments like, “Does Kim Tae-ho have no ethical obligations as a public broadcaster’s PD?” and “Drop him from the show immediately.”

Kim Soo-hyun currently faces serious allegations regarding his relationship with Kim Sae-ron, purportedly dating her for six years starting in 2016, when she was just 15 years old. These claims originated on March 10, following an interview released by the YouTube channel “Garosero Research Institute” that featured Kim Sae-ron’s family. In light of these allegations, on March 14, Kim Soo-hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, issued an official statement aimed at discrediting the rumors and safeguarding the actor’s reputation.
