Heredia shared that they spent “weeks” introducing their now-girlfriend to the Pokémon TCG, concluding that a proposal themed around their shared interest would be an engaging way to deepen their relationship. By using a custom pack filled with full-art rares, they cleverly included a specially crafted card of their design.
This card, titled “Megs and Luis’s Special Day,”featured the proposal as an attack named ‘Would you be my Girlfriend.’ Its effect stated: “By saying yes, Luis promises to do everything and anything to deserve you every day.”
Dubbed “adorable,” this creative proposal has resonated with the online community, amassing over 3.3 million views and more than 67,000 likes within just one day. Many individuals have reached out to commend Heredia for the extensive effort put into this romantic gesture.
One enthusiastic user commented, “This is off the charts for a girlfriend proposal. Never seen anything like it.” However, they may have created an uphill battle for themselves, as topping this proposal when the time for a marriage proposal comes around will be quite the challenge.
