Vitaly, the well-known YouTuber, has secured bail in relation to his harassment case in the Philippines; however, his freedom to travel within the country remains restricted.
His legal troubles began when he was arrested on April 2, 2025, following a slew of viral videos in which he harassed unsuspecting individuals across various locations. The footage included alarming acts, such as impersonating law enforcement officers, aggressively filming residents without consent, and instigating minor traffic disturbances.
After his detention, Vitaly promptly admitted to the charges against him. A concerning photograph that emerged on June 16 revealed his drastic physical transformation, showing considerable muscle loss and weight reduction attributed to his time in custody.

Post-Bail Detention by Immigration Authorities
On June 22, after securing bail for his harassment charges, Vitaly found himself in another complication; he was taken into custody by the Bureau of Immigration, which initiated a deportation process against him.
Commissioner Joel Anthony Viado made it clear that Vitaly’s situation prevents him from moving freely within the country. He emphasized, “He will not be allowed to roam around as he is already seen as an undesirable alien. Foreign guests are expected to follow the law during their stay in the Philippines. We will not allow them to abuse our hospitality and disrespect our people and our country.”
The Bureau of Immigration has clarified that deportation proceedings are suspended until all of Vitaly’s legal challenges are fully addressed and any imposed sentences are served.
Legal experts, including YouTube attorney LegalMindset, predict that the Russian-American content creator could face up to 18 months behind bars due to his criminal activities.
