The role of Remy LeBeau, or Gambit, in Marvel Rivals is voiced by the talented A. J.LoCasio. Fans may recognize his voice from a number of previous projects, as he has a wealth of experience portraying Gambit—most notably in the animated series X-Men ’97, which serves as a reboot and continuation of the original animated series.
In the game, look closely at the images on Gambit’s cards; they feature designs directly inspired by X-Men ’97. The ace card showcases Gambit alongside Rogue, while Storm graces the queen card, and Mister Sinister appears on the king card, alongside various other characters from the classic show.
A. J.LoCasio is no stranger to voice acting, having lent his voice to a diverse array of characters across numerous projects. His credits include portraying Marty McFly in Back to the Future: The Game, Lotor and multiple roles in Voltron: Legendary Defender, Han Solo in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and even voicing Gizmo in Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai.

Upon watching the initial trailer for season five, many fans (myself included) immediately recognized A. J.LoCasio’s distinctive voice. Although not yet officially stated, it appears that Rogue may also be voiced by her original actress from X-Men ’97—confirmation likely won’t occur until the highly anticipated release of season 5.5.
In the meantime, players should continue to engage with content from previous seasons, such as the popular Marvel Zombies mode, which remains active and loaded with challenges, including defeating Nightmare 4 and Zombie Scarlet Witch.
