After Season 3 was released, the Renetti became dominant in the close-range meta of Warzone. Fortunately, the developers have officially announced that changes will be made to the Pistol.
The introduction of the Renetti SMG-hybrid build in Warzone Season 3 caused a surge in its usage among players, dominating short range battles and prompting many to request the developers to nerf it. This resulted in numerous changes to the game’s top weapons, making the Renetti the preferred choice for most players.
Despite the April 9 update for Warzone which addressed bug fixes and made changes to several weapons, players were quick to notice that the Renetti was not mentioned in the section on weapon balancing. However, Raven Software has assured players that the Renetti will be receiving a nerf in the “near future,”as confirmed in a separate post on X.

Regrettably, the development team did not specify a specific date for the release of the upcoming update with the Renetti nerf. Rest assured, we will keep you updated should any new information about this be announced.
Despite dominating metas being a common occurrence in Warzone, the weapon that poses the greatest threat to players at close range is the JAK Ferocity Carbine Conversion Kit Aftermarket Part, as it provides a significant boost to the Renetti Hangun’s performance.
For those eagerly anticipating the end of its dominance with the April 9 update, they will have to be patient a little while longer before witnessing the nerfing of this powerful Pistol-SMG hybrid.
