Warzone players have recently expressed their dissatisfaction with the lack of snipers capable of one-shot kills in the game, with many disappointed that it’s not like it used to be.
Snipers have always played an important role in Call of Duty, but in Warzone, they have been particularly important. In the early days of Verdansk, when the map was so large and players were still determining their playstyles, snipers dominated every game in the long, open spaces.
Over time, the art of snipering has been affected by changes made by developers, especially when it comes to one-shot kills. Things even got a little overdone with the Kar98 and other options on Caldera, leading to them being removed for a while.
But as Modern Warfare 3 came to Warzone, players were understandably excited to play with all the new snipers in this game. However, the lack of options capable of one-shotting is becoming increasingly frustrating.
Warzone players want more one-shot snipers in Urzikstan
Despite the wide range of sniper rifles, the only one-shot sniper in Warzone currently is the Katt-AMR, which has frustrated many players who would like a little more variety.
“I still don’t understand why we can’t have more one-shot snipers,” said one disgruntled player. “I am so disappointed with the XRK Stalker. Looking at his stats, he SHOULD be able to one-shot the head. But that’s not the case,” added another.

“They should rotate it every season, so next season we would have a new one-shot sniper and by the end of this card’s lifespan we would have played with all the snipers.” , suggested another player.
Others have also mentioned the idea of copying Apex Legends by adding helmets as an armor option, which could give a better way for players to judge whether they will be able to one-shot or not.
While this idea seems unlikely, we’ll have to wait and see what the developers do in the coming days and weeks with snipers.
