Where is the Golden Hematite in Wild Hearts?

Like any monster hunting game, Wild Hearts requires a lot of effort. Players can get by with a minimal amount if they only build a couple sets of weapons or armor, but most people who play games in this genre try to build everything.

In order to craft the best items, players need to know where to find certain materials. Golden Hematite is one such material that many Wild Hearts players have had a hard time finding, so let’s take a look at exactly where to find it.

Where to find and how to get “Golden Hematite”

First, the Mirror Stone can be found in rock outcrops and caves in Akikure Canyon. Secondly, it can only be found starting from the third chapter (same as the Sakura Stone and the Demon Stone), earlier and all players will find the Mirror Stone after reaching the third chapter.

After reaching Chapter 3, players can jump into Akikure Canyon and search for these exposed gems with golden yellowish crystalline material inside. Each of the Hearts of the Wild maps uses the same model for each regional ore variant, with Harugasumi Road red, Akikure Canyon yellow, and Fuyufusagi Fort blue.

To find the golden hematite, players should go around all the rocky areas on the map and run through the caves. In particular, there is a long winding underground area with a camp called “Buddha Cave” that has a lot of golden hematites. It takes a little time to run these long paths, so the Flying Vine Dragon Karakuri can come in handy here.

Blacksmithing materials, including gold hematite, can be grown by several methods.

However, this is not the most efficient way to extract materials for forging. Instead, players should aim to get the Karakuri Dragon from Tsukumo Shrine as soon as possible. Once they unlock it (this can be done before chapter 3), they should place as many of these dragons as possible in their camp in Akikure Canyon and check them every half hour or so.

Tsukumo Ore Shrines can be used to automatically collect blacksmithing materials (both regular and regional). If the player downloads the Chapter 3 version of the map, these Ore Sanctuaries can be rewarded with Golden Hematite.

However, this is a random reward and depends on luck; however, blacksmithing materials of all types are sold at a decent price in the Crimson Treasury, so even failing with these shrines can mean more money.

Other than that, the only way to grow golden hematite without wasting time looking for it is to hunt kemonos, which are commonly found in (or run into) caves in Akikure Canyon. The Smoky Beetle and Sand Dog are good options for this purpose, as they are widespread in the area and drop a large amount of materials when killed.

Wild Hearts is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
