MAJORS Bian has been the center of attention among K-pop fans due to her doll-like appearance and remarkable vocal abilities. Despite being recognized as a potential top-tier star, many have questioned why she is still considered “underrated”and have taken notice of her current status.
Bian’s Journey: Withdrawal From ANS, Debut with MAJORS, and Hiatus Due to Health Concerns
Yu Jiwon, also known as Bian, gained recognition in the K-pop industry in 2019 as a pre-debut member of the group MIDNIGHT, despite being born in 2001.
Despite her supposed debut under H&I Entertainment falling through, she was introduced four months later as a member of ANS under the stage name Bian.
Despite initially gaining a strong following both domestically and internationally with their hit songs “BOOM BOOM”and “Say My Name,”their time in the K-pop industry was cut short by a string of scandals, including allegations of bullying and mistreatment from their label. As a result, their disbandment in 2020 was seen as unjust.
Despite being one of the members who filed a legal dispute against ANS Entertainment, Bian surprised the fandom by announcing that she would be re-debuting under the company’s new girl group, MAJORS.
Certainly, many fans stood by Bian, but her experience with her second girl group was not as seamless as it had been before.
In 2022, there were speculations that she departed from the group due to multiple hiatuses, as well as her mother’s enigmatic Instagram post urging fans to say farewell to the star as Bian, as she moves forward in her life as Jiwon.
Despite the departure of several members in 2023, it was believed that MAJORS had disbanded. However, ANS Ent has consistently clarified that the team remains intact and Bian is still a member.

Despite stepping out of the limelight in the music industry, there continues to be a great number of K-pop fans eagerly following her current whereabouts.
On April 26, a user on X shared photos of Bian that quickly became viral, accumulating over 1.3 million views and more than 20k likes.
Having investigated her current status, it can be confirmed that she is currently working as a BJ/streamer on Afreeca TV.

Despite this, fans are still holding out hope for her return to the K-pop scene due to her exceptional visuals and talents in singing and dancing.
It is widely believed that she will effectively exemplify the true meaning of “beauty & talent”in the entertainment industry.
In fact, even those who were not fans expressed remorse for not becoming her supporters earlier, as she continued to be considered “underrated”despite deserving more recognition and appreciation for her talents.
