Like in Pokemon, some species in the game are harder to find than others. This is the case of this Egyptian imitation of Lucario called Anubis. This desert guardian is Earth-type and you won’t find him wandering the island of Palpagos. Indeed, it does not appear in the wild.

How to Defeat and Capture Anubis

This Egyptian creature can be found in Palworld as a Pal Alpha, meaning there is only one in the entire game – and you must fight it to capture it.

Anubis is level 47, so you need to train your team well if you want to be up to the task. Keep in mind that as an Earth-type Pal, it is strong against Electric-type Pals and weak against Grass-type ones. So make sure to include Pals like Mossanda, Robinquill or Mammorest in your team.

Additionally, equip yourself with the most powerful weapons you can craft, as well as plenty of ammo, Legendary Spheres, and Heat and Cold Resistant clothing.

Once you capture him, Anubis will be a great teammate thanks to the Desert Guardian Partner Skill, which applies Earth-type damage to the player’s attacks. This also increases the chance of Anubis dodging hits in combat.

As for his work abilities, he is good at Manual Work, Extraction and Transport. However, given his great power, it would be a waste to keep him at the Ranch.
