YouTuber Cody “WhistlinDiesel”Detwiler recently gained attention for putting an $80, 000 humanoid robot, known as Ben, through a rigorous series of “durability tests, ”during which he ultimately destroyed the machine.

The latest video begins with Detwiler engaging in both verbal and physical provocations directed at the robot, which sets the stage for increasingly challenging trials. Among these tests, Ben is seen stepping off ledges, navigating through water, and even wielding a machete. In a particularly unsettling segment, the robot is assigned a babysitting task, during which it shockingly presents a machete to a child.

Escalation of Destruction

Further tests were conducted in a household environment, where the robot smashed mirrors, caused damage to walls, and broke through a door in a simulated “burglary test.”Moving outdoors, Detwiler drove a truck directly into Ben, transported him to downtown Nashville, and even employed the robot to mow a lawn, showcasing a range of durability challenges.

Final Fate of Ben

The destruction intensified as the robot endured repeated truck collisions before being dismembered. Ultimately, various parts of Ben were made available for sale, allowing fans to purchase a piece of the action.

WhistlinDiesel has steadily increased in popularity by creating content that centers around demolishing high-value items, typically cars. For example, back in February 2025, he famously shredded a $400, 000 Rolls-Royce Phantom and later sold the remnants to fans on his website. In an extravagant display of destruction, he also orchestrated a demolition of a Tesla Cybertruck using C4 explosives, Jake Paul’s fist, and the participation of various influencers, including Mike Majlak.

While the specifics of his next durability test remain a mystery, Detwiler has hinted at his desire to acquire a multi-million dollar Bugatti to destroy in celebration of reaching 10 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, promising yet another thrilling spectacle for his audience.
