In the seventh installment of the Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World anime, titled Heartless Angel, the main focus was on the separate battles fought by each member of Kai’s group against the Lord of Heaven, Alfreya, and their subordinates.

Falin, Saki, and Ashran joined forces to face the War Angel Vicious, while Rinne fought against Raphaelo and Kai battled Alfreya with the help of Jeanne and Reiren. Despite the Angels’ initial superiority complex, Kai’s group proved their worth by ultimately defeating them.

However, it was later discovered that Alfreya’s subordinates were not actively seeking to engage in battle with their adversaries. Instead, they were patiently awaiting the day when someone would dare to challenge the Lord of Heaven. This was due to the shock and surprise they felt when Alfreya, who had once been a kind and compassionate Angel, transformed into a cold and disdainful being who viewed all other Celestials with contempt.

The sudden change in Alfreya’s behavior and magical power was finally explained in the episode, as it was revealed that he had replaced the majority of his subordinates with a Last Riser (also known as Rasterizer). Over time, this individual had influenced Alfreya’s mindset and transformed him into a malevolent being.

During Alfreya’s confrontation with Kai, Jeanne, and Reiren, an unexpected event occurred. When Kai inquired about the Prophet Sid and World Reincarnation, it triggered a strong response from the Lord of Heaven, which ultimately caused the Last Riser to turn against its own master in a shocking turn of events.

The episode heavily implied that the Last Riser was responsible for overwriting the original world, as it also overwrote Alfreya. This resulted in the erasure of Alfreya’s original form and the emergence of a new being representing another Last Riser, who was portrayed as significantly more powerful. As a result, the episode concluded.
