Recently, there has been an increase in the usage of weapons from Modern Warfare 2 in Warzone. While Modern Warfare 3 guns still dominate the meta, the options from MW2 are proving to be just as effective.
Despite the older guns’ effectiveness, they are often criticized for their excessive visual clutter and screen shake. In fact, the smoke emitted from their barrels can be quite distracting during gunfights.
Despite some of its issues, looking past them will reveal that the Kastov 762 with the JAK Requiem kit is actually quite easy to use. In fact, it is the best option as it remains completely stationary during use.
According to popular Warzone expert WhosImmortal, as seen in his video on July 22nd, the MW2 AR is an incredibly accurate weapon. WhosImmortal praised its stability and lack of vertical recoil, stating that it is a “laser beam”in terms of accuracy.

As previously mentioned, the JAK Requiem is the essential attachment in the build. While you are able to switch from the Corio Eagleseye optic to the JAK Glassless, it is advised not to make any other modifications.
Based on WZRanked statistics, the Modern Warfare 2 rifle has experienced a resurgence in popularity and currently holds the 15th spot on the charts.
The Kastov 762 will still be a viable option until the release of the upcoming Season 5 update, giving you ample opportunity to continue using it.
