It’s the end of the month, which means fresh Windows 11 preview releases are available. KB5023778 is assigned to the new Windows 11 22H2 build version 22621.1485. This is an optional OS preview update with several updates and fixes. Let us now learn more about the March preview update.
A preview update for Windows 11 21H2 with build number 22000.1761 and KB build KB5023774 is also available.
Along with the latest update, Microsoft has set a timetable for the future Windows 11 Preview releases. Before, the preview build was provided in the third week, but no precise date for the upgrade was given. But, beginning in April 2023, these preview updates will be issued on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Every month on the second Tuesday, stable builds are issued.
The Windows 11 22621.1485 Preview update contains several improvements. This includes alerts from Microsoft accounts in the Start Menu. Notifications will appear on top when you enter Start Menu and click on your profile icon. It is currently restricted to a small number of people.
When a custom color mode is enabled on the system, the search box on the Taskbar will be lighter. This occurs when Windows mode is set to dark and the app mode is set to light.
Together with these features, the new version fixes a slew of issues and improves the System significantly.
