Episode 10 opens with a flashback where Wignall Lindor practices his illusion magic, striving to reach the level of his foster sister, Ellenor. He experiences frustration as his illusions fail, but he persists in honing his skills at the academy, with Will Serfort watching from above.

Transitioning back to the present, Wignall confesses to Will that his illusions lack the physical form they should have, sharing how his elven community has branded him a disgrace. Despite ranking among the top three students at the academy, he feels “inferior.”The narrative also shifts to Lihanna, who expresses similar doubts to Colette.

Lihanna compares her and the other top students to big fishes in a small pond and laments the absence of “real talent”among them. Returning to Wignall’s perspective, he shares with Will the painful lesson he learned about inferiority from Ellenor, who is not only his foster sister but also the Elven Queen and a leading Magia Vander.

Throughout their childhood as orphans, Wignall took it upon himself to support Ellenor, especially given her extraordinary ability to create the Kingswood effortlessly. After she ascended to become a Magia Vander, Wignall dedicated himself to matching her prowess, but unfortunately fell short, further fueling his feelings of disgrace.

After hearing Wignall’s story, Will Serfort empathizes with him and offers reassurance, declaring Wignall a talented elf and promising to support him until he regains his confidence. Colette similarly encourages Lihanna by reminding her of Will’s unwavering diligence, highlighting that he never succumbs to negativity, even when criticized for lacking talent.

As the episode progresses, Will and Wignall navigate a dungeon filled with high-level monsters. They encounter a legion of Balkar, whose physical vulnerabilities are not easily exploited due to their high magic resistance. Thus, only Wignall’s elven illusion magic proves effective against them.

Overwhelmed by self-doubt, Wignall almost gives in to his insecurities, convinced he cannot defeat the monsters. However, Will motivates him, emphasizing that failure is a part of progress. After briefly attempting his magic, which initially fails, Wignall finds renewed strength in Will’s encouragement. He ultimately surmounts his fears and successfully uses his illusion magic, Alfs Ringhul, to dispel the Balkars.

The episode culminates with Wignall bowing before Will, acknowledging him as a formidable warrior. Will reciprocates by sharing his admiration for Wignall, leading to a significant handshake between them.
