WoW Plunderstorm Update: Players Can Earn Heroic Nerub-ar Palace Gear

Blizzard Entertainment has made its inaugural venture into the battle royale genre with Plunderstorm, a captivating addition to the World of Warcraft universe. This new game mode has garnered a warm reception among players, primarily due to its enticing rewards that seamlessly integrate with the main MMO experience.

One standout feature of Plunderstorm is the introduction of a unique in-game currency called Plunder. Players can earn this currency by participating in battles, with extra bonuses awarded for victories and exceptional performances. The Plunder currency can be exchanged for various cosmetic items, including mounts and armor appearances that enhance players’ characters in the mainline World of Warcraft game.

In a recent announcement on the official World of Warcraft forums, community manager Kaivax revealed that players can now earn Heroic Nerub’ar Palace gear by acquiring a total of 5, 000 Plunder.

“Since the Plunderstorm returned to Azeroth, Cap’n Keg Leg has been holding back a fine reward, ” Kaivax noted.“As of 10:00 a.m. PST today (January 31), this issue has been resolved. Players who have reached 5, 000 Plunder, or those who achieve this total in the future, should check their in-game mail for a message from Keg Leg containing their loot.”

One significant advantage for players is that this reward system is retroactive. Therefore, if you have previously accumulated at least 5, 000 Plunder, you should receive your gear without any additional effort. For those who haven’t hit the mark yet, the process isn’t overly time-consuming.

Keep in mind that Plunderstorm is only available until February 18. If you haven’t started yet, now is the time to dive in and experience this fun new mode. Additionally, there are numerous other rewards and cosmetics up for grabs, making the investment in time well worth it for enhancement enthusiasts.
