A significant plot element that is bound to have consequences is Wolverine’s loss of his adamantium. This event in the comics led to over ten years of storylines as Wolverine struggled to adapt to no longer having his invincibility. Having been portrayed as an unstoppable force in the animated series, future narratives may showcase a more human and vulnerable side of the character.

It is plausible that Wolverine may be chosen as a Horseman of Apocalypse, as this is how he obtained his adamantium in the comics.

The concluding scene depicts Cyclops and Jean Grey, along with a younger Nathan, stranded in the future. Simultaneously, Rogue, Nightcrawler, The Beast, Magneto, and Xavier find themselves marooned in ancient Egypt.

Notably missing from the conclusion of the finale are Morph and Wolverine. During the final moments of the episode, Morph was seen taking care of Wolverine, who had been severely injured by Magneto removing the adamantium from his skeleton. Their whereabouts at the end of the episode remain unknown and will likely be addressed in Season 2.
