XDefiant Players Express Outrage over Cheaters Dominating Lobbies

XDefiant players are extremely angry as they are constantly encountering flagrant cheaters who dominate lobbies with unfair speed and precision hacks, often achieving 70 or more kills in a single game.

In games like XDefiant that involve competition, encountering hackers is a common issue. This is particularly common in free-to-play games such as Ubisoft’s latest addition to the genre, as it is easy for players to create a new account if their previous one is banned.

During the initial week of the game’s release, gamers were already reporting cheaters disrupting lobbies. However, the lead developer of XDefiant reassured fans that they were actively addressing and eliminating all hackers from the game, even though they preferred not to publicly discuss the game’s anti-cheat measures.

Despite being over a month since its release, players are continuing to report an influx of cheaters dominating lobbies and achieving abnormally high kill counts with brazen tactics. Furthermore, these cheaters are now finding ways to be even more inventive with their cheating methods.

A player shared a video on the XDefiant subreddit of a hacker dominating a Team Deathmatch lobby by constantly jumping and moving in unrealistic ways while filling up the killfeed.

As the article gained popularity, gamers shared their experiences with encountering the same hacker – or at least ones using similar cheating methods – in their online matches.

“I am almost certain that I encountered this same player yesterday and without a doubt, he was cheating just like this,”one player commented. “The game wasn’t even halfway through and he already had nearly 100 kills, and every single kill from the opposing team was from him.”

A few other players were keeping track of the number of obvious cheaters they had encountered during their time playing XDefiant.

“According to a player, this game will be ruined by both this and all the strange denials of cheating. They hope that console-only crossplay will be implemented soon to reduce the impact of these issues.”

By looking up the hacker’s profile on Tracker.gg, it becomes clear just how obvious their cheating is. Despite only playing 44 matches, they have managed to win every single one and accumulate over 3,000 kills. Even in the past 24 hours, their match history shows a consistent pattern of getting 70 or more kills. This is just one instance of their blatant cheating.
