xQc Announces Dismissal of $500k Lawsuit Against Adept Following “Disastrous” Legal Proceedings

Streaming sensation xQc has had a court case against him dismissed amidst his ongoing legal disputes with his ex-girlfriend Adept, as he continues his efforts to reclaim the funds from his McLaren that was sold.

Since their breakup, xQc and Adept have been embroiled in numerous legal battles. The former couple reportedly underwent a divorce, sought protective orders due to allegations of sexual assault, and faced complications concerning various vehicles.

In this context, Adept had taken possession of xQc’s McLaren 720s Spider. This luxury vehicle, valued at over $300,000, had been frozen as an asset by a judge, prohibiting its sale or transfer to anyone other than xQc. However, the situation escalated when the car was sold ‘illegally’ without his knowledge.

The McLaren has continuously been a topic of discussion within his community. During his September 8 Q&A session, the former Overwatch player provided an update, sharing that another lawsuit had been dismissed.

“Let’s just say, the other party didn’t play fair from the beginning. The sneaky tactics they were using. It was supposedly frozen, yet the car was sold under the radar. That shouldn’t be happening,” he said.

“And then once I was like ‘dude, this is ridiculous’ and we had the judge, I don’t remember the precise legal terminology, but basically the judge was like full dismissal, I’m done with this nonsense. The case has been drawn out for months and years. The entire process was a nightmare. That lawsuit was absolutely disastrous.”

The Twitch and KICK streamer mentioned that there was a delay in resolving the case as it needed to be redrafted and submitted again, as he also wanted to include claims regarding his BMW X6M competition.

xQc remarked that he’s not willing to “risk everything” to win and will exercise patience. He also highlighted that he has already won two cases against his ex, so he’s prepared to continue, despite their use of “underhanded” tactics at times.

While he may not be able to drive the supercars due to not having a license, their combined value is approximately $500,000. Therefore, recovering that amount is crucial, even if the process takes longer than he would prefer. Given the current situation, he might even secure additional funds in the end.
