A video titled “Unboxing the Silver Button is Just an Excuse, Scaring Sungjae with a Prank Camera” was uploaded on the YouTube channel ‘YOOK SUNGJAE Official’ on the 13th.
In the footage, Yook Sungjae can be observed opening a Silver Button and getting frightened by a scary prank orchestrated by the production crew.
Yook Sungjae spoke about his recent endeavors, stating, “I have been fortunate to have had many joyous moments. I have been able to travel for fan meetings overseas, something I have always wanted to do. Additionally, I am currently getting ready for my upcoming role in the fantasy historical drama ‘Gyugung’ by learning martial arts at an action school and taking acting lessons, as this is my first time preparing for a historical drama.”
Furthermore, a particular scene was presented featuring Yook Sungjae singing in his studio while watching a screen. He was taken aback and couldn’t help but burst into laughter upon seeing a ghostly makeup photo displayed by the production team. He exclaimed, “What on earth is this!”before continuing to laugh and remark, “I was genuinely frightened. It looks absolutely eerie.”He then went on to confess, “I have a strong fear of ghosts, so things like this really get to me.”
During the filming of the Silver Button unboxing, the production team surprised everyone with a second prank. Yook Sungjae shared that he used to give the nickname “Ochils”to his long-time fans, which translates to “five and seven surrounding six.”He asked, “Don’t you think ‘Ochils’ is an adorable nickname?”
He stated, “I used to feel ecstatic when fans would recognize me on the street and express their gratitude, but nowadays, I find myself feeling a bit bashful. Am I becoming more introverted? I have no desire to become an INTP like Hyunsik, who enjoys traveling, eating, drinking, and doing activities alone. I could never do that.”
Yook Sungjae was filled with excitement as he opened the Silver Button, but his joy was interrupted when a production team member dressed as a ghost suddenly appeared. Startled, he let out a scream and quickly ran away in fear. He eventually returned to his seat, his face almost on the verge of tears as he admitted, “I had a feeling something like this would happen,”revealing his vulnerable side. However, his embarrassment quickly turned into laughter, providing entertainment for everyone.
