Yoon Sang, a well-known musician and the father of RIIZE Anton, recently shared that his younger brother is contemplating a career as an idol. It remains to be seen if he will also join SM Entertainment.
On June 19, MBC’s “Radio Star”will feature some of the most renowned celebrities and artists, recognized for their signature glasses or spectacles.
Before the show, a sneak peek was shared showcasing Yoon Sang, a renowned musician from the 1990s.
During the peak of his career, he was adored as the original handsome balladeer. When his son RIIZE Anton made his debut as a fifth-generation K-pop idol, his already growing popularity skyrocketed as fans marveled at their striking resemblance.
During the preview, he also spoke about his son and disclosed that Anton’s aspiration to become an idol was influenced by lyricist Kim Eana, sparking interest about the motive behind it.
Yoon Sang will also disclose in the upcoming episode how Anton came to sign with SM Entertainment.
The aforementioned subjects had already captured the attention of viewers, but they were even more intrigued when the experienced artist suggested that his youngest son may be following in his eldest brother’s footsteps.
He disclosed:
“Actually, until the beginning of the year, I was in the position of telling, ‘If you do this, you will be in big trouble.”’
Despite being cautioned, Yoon Sang proceeded to say:
“But it seems like my second child is secretly envious of his older brother.”
Specifically, in addition to Anton, Yoon Sang also has a second son named Lee Junyoung. He was born in 2009, making him either 14 or 15 years old this year.
Similarly to Anton, Junyoung was also brought up outside of his home country and currently resides in the United States with his mother.
Despite not being a celebrity, K-pop fans were able to gather his childhood and SNS photos, which revealed his striking resemblance to his father and brother, leaving them amazed.
Despite not yet being an adult, he received praise for his tall stature and handsome appearance, which are fitting for a potential K-pop idol.
After the preview, there is a great deal of curiosity about whether he will also be scouted by SM Entertainment, potentially forming a male counterpart to the famous “Jung sisters.”These sisters, who also left the U.S. to chase their dreams of becoming idols, are currently under the same label.
