YouTuber Mo Vibes has recently captured the attention of the online community by wrapping a replica of the G-Wagon in Louis Vuitton bags valued at approximately $100, 000. This audacious project has taken social media by storm, showcasing an extravagant blend of high fashion and automotive creativity.

In an eye-catching YouTube video, Mo detailed the intricate process of transforming dozens of new Louis Vuitton bags—each priced around $3, 000—into patches that enveloped the exterior of his boxy SUV replica. While a conventional professional vehicle wrap typically costs about $3, 200 to $4, 500, Mo’s unique approach escalated the budget into six figures.

Instead of utilizing traditional vinyl materials, Mo and his team opted for superglue to adhere the thick leather onto the vehicle. Over the course of three days, they meticulously covered the entire replica vehicle in rich brown Louis Vuitton leather, resulting in a one-of-a-kind, albeit imperfect, finish.

Project Challenges and Design Choices

The choice of vehicle type was crucial to achieving this ambitious wrap. Leather is known for its rigidity, which can complicate the molding process around rounded edges. However, the compact, boxy design of the mini G-Wagon replica simplified their task. The smaller dimensions also meant that fewer bags were necessary compared to a full-sized Mercedes G-Wagon, which would have significantly increased the project’s overall expense.

The Final Outcome

Although some portions of the vehicle are beginning to display signs of the glue losing its bond, this project remains one of Mo’s most remarkable endeavors to date.“There’s some glue coming apart, but it’s fine, it works, ”Mo expressed in his video. He noted, “Some of the leather is coming off, the glue has to be redone. We live in a hot country, so the glue is bound to melt.”

While he refrained from disclosing the original make of the “mini G-Wagon, ” it appears that it is modeled after a Suzuki Jimny, a popular small SUV often customized to mimic the luxurious Mercedes design.
