From the start of the series, Sukuna harbored a strong disdain for Yuji and constantly tormented him at every chance. In contrast, Yuji was fueled by his animosity towards Sukuna and had a resolute goal to end his life for all the heinous deeds he had committed, yet lacked the ability to do so.

However, in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265, it was revealed that even Yuji himself was unaware of the full potential of his domain. Thus, there still remains much mystery surrounding Yuji’s domain.

Throughout the entire chapter, Yuji continued to lead Sukuna through his memories, delving into his childhood and attempting to demonstrate the importance of human life to the King of Curses. He recounted the time when he had to relocate to Sendai due to his grandfather’s job, and how his grandfather took care of him as if he were his own child.

Yuji led Sukuna to a large expanse of lush greenery, where they caught crawfish and even engaged in a game of archery. However, Sukuna’s patience eventually ran out and he demanded that Yuji get to the point without further delay.

Yuji explained his philosophy to Sukuna, sharing how he used to believe that fulfilling his role and understanding it were the key components of living. He believed that once he fulfilled his role, he could face death peacefully. However, in the past few months, his perspective has shifted. He continued to monologue, attempting to convey the importance of valuing one’s life to Sukuna.

Despite Yuji’s best efforts, it appeared that Sukuna remained uninterested in the value of others’ lives. After understanding Yuji’s words, Sukuna made it clear that he did not care about this concept. Yuji then attempted to approach Sukuna in a manner that might evoke pity from the latter.

When questioned by the King of Curses if he was attempting to display compassion, Yuji’s demeanor quickly shifted as his eyes became hostile. He boldly proclaimed his ability to defeat the King and even went as far as threatening Sukuna to release Megumi Fushiguro and return to him, or else he would not hesitate to end his life.

It is possible that Yuji’s newfound confidence is a result of his domain. While Yuji had initially stated that he created his domain instinctively, it is possible that he either exaggerated or discovered its sure-hit attack or true ability while reflecting on his childhood.

Although it may be a bit of a stretch to assume at this point, there has been much speculation among fans that Yuji’s domain could potentially be the key to defeating Sukuna. Given his confidence while threatening Sukuna, it is highly probable that Yuji will ultimately be the one to deliver the final blow to the King of Curses, potentially with the assistance of his domain.
