Yuta’s current state in Jujutsu Kaisen: A Result of Misusing Kenjaku’s Cursed Technique, Confirmed by Yuki’s Words

Following the conclusion of the Domain Battle between Yuta Okkotsu and Ryomen Sukuna, Yuta was unexpectedly unable to maintain control of Kenjaku’s cursed technique in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263. As a result, he became trapped inside Satoru Gojo’s body with no means of reactivating the technique, as Rika was no longer present.

Despite Yuta’s expectation that the Limitless Cursed Technique would dissipate soon, he was surprised by the quick depletion of Kenjaku’s cursed technique. This led him to conclude that the ancient sorcerer must have had a method of prolonging the duration of his technique, despite having numerous other cursed techniques at his disposal.

During her battle against Kenjaku, Yuki Tsukumo had previously observed that he must have possessed an external ability. This enabled him to retain control over his main cursed technique while utilizing the other stolen techniques.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuki’s Notion About Kenjaku’s Fourth Cursed Technique Explains Yuta’s Current State

The Jujutsu Kaisen manga is coming to an end, as the protagonists have exhausted all their options in the ongoing Shinjuku Showdown against Ryomen Sukuna.

In chapter 263 of Jujutsu Kaisen, it was revealed that Hana Kurusu was the sorcerers’ secret weapon. She was responsible for utilizing her Jacob’s Ladder technique at its maximum capacity on a severely weakened Sukuna.

Despite the numerous aspects of the chapter that sparked discussion among fans, one in particular stood out: Yuta Okkotsu’s loss of control over Satoru Gojo’s body, leaving him in a vulnerable state. Yuta explained that this was caused by Kenjaku’s cursed technique burning out before the five-minute time limit, due to his constant use of Domain Expansion.

Despite Yuta’s expectation of successfully countering Gojo’s Limitless technique, he was unprepared for Kenjaku’s Body-Hopping cursed technique to fail in such a brief period. As he lay defeated on the ground, Yuta came to the realization that Kenjaku must have had a contingency plan in place, enabling him to continue using his domain and other techniques without hindrance.

Despite Yuta’s claim that he did not acquire this from the copied version of Kenjaku’s cursed technique, it was evident that the latter possessed a unique ability that enabled him to retain control over his primary cursed technique.

Yuki Tsukumo’s words provide even more evidence, as she deduced that Kenjaku must have possessed a fourth cursed technique. This enabled him to not only freely use the Body-Hopping technique, but also maintain control over the body he had taken possession of.

Yuki reached this conclusion by recognizing that Kenjaku’s excessive use of cursed techniques would have inevitably overwhelmed his brain’s memory.

In order to possess the ability to use multiple cursed techniques within one body, an individual would require an external storage mechanism, such as Yuta’s use of Rika to copy and hold other cursed techniques.

In chapter 263 of Jujutsu Kaisen, it was revealed that it was not possible to control someone’s body for an extended period of time. This means that even with a duplicate of Kenjaku’s cursed technique, it can be inferred that the ancient sorcerer possessed a hidden ability or an alternative cursed technique that enabled him to utilize the Body-Hopping technique in the manner he did.

There is a widely accepted theory among fans that Kenjaku’s cursed technique was sustained by a Binding Vow. However, it remains uncertain if Gege Akutami will reveal the truth behind Kenjaku’s technique in the upcoming chapters of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. Until an official confirmation is given, the fandom will continue to speculate on the matter.

  • Akutami might be setting up a final despair for Yuji in Jujutsu Kaisen before his actual awakening
  • What was the reason behind Sukuna’s need to reabsorb his fingers in chapter 263 of Jujutsu Kaisen?
  • Sukuna was only able to save Megumi in Shibuya for one reason, and it makes perfect sense
