4 Boruto Characters Who Can Defeat Inojin (& 4 Who Can’t)

Despite Inojin’s best efforts to protect Himawari Uzumaki from Jura in chapter 10 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, his attacks were swiftly countered and he was ultimately impaled by Jura’s Wood-style jutsu. As a result, the survival of Inojin is now uncertain in the manga.

Inojin Yamanaka, the son of Sai and Ino Yamanaka, inherits the strong Shinobi genes of his parents. Additionally, he has honed his skills by mastering Jutsu from both of them, making him a formidable Shinobi even at a young age. Therefore, let’s take a look at the Boruto characters who have the ability to defeat Inojin and those who are no match for him.

Please be advised that this article may contain spoilers from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

During the Chunin exams, it was evident in the anime that Taketori Houki from Team 25 had the ability to defeat Inojin Yamanaka, as the two Shinobi were matched up in a battle against each other.

Initially, the battle appeared to be evenly matched as Inojin possessed powerful abilities such as the Super Beast Scroll and Mind Transfer Jutsu. However, Taketori had prepared countermeasures for both of these techniques.

Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha’s Sharingan gives her a significant advantage over Inojin Yamanaka, making it easy for her to defeat him. With her Sharingan, Sarada can effectively counter both of Inojin’s primary weapons, including any Super Beast Scroll attacks he may launch.

Moreover, Sarada could utilize her Sharingan powers to cast a genjutsu on Inojin, preventing him from initiating the Mind Transfer Jutsu. It is worth noting that Sarada’s Sharingan had evolved into the Mangekyo Sharingan, further enhancing her strength.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations

Ever since the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga began, it has been clear that Boruto is one of the most powerful characters in the series. Given this, it would be safe to assume that Boruto would easily emerge victorious in a battle against Inojin.

Boruto has the ability to use his Rasengan Uzuhiko to disorient Inojin and knock him off his feet. Alternatively, he could potentially defeat Inojin with his expertise in Taijutsu or Kenjutsu, as demonstrated in his recent battle with Mitsuki.

4) Mitsuki

Despite Mitsuki’s defeat by Boruto, he remains a formidable character in the series. As fans are aware, his Sage Mode is a powerful state that allowed Naruto to defeat formidable opponents such as Pain.

In comparison to the previous Akatsuki leader, Inojin was considerably weaker. As a result, even if Mitsuki’s Sage Mode happened to be less powerful, he would still have no trouble defeating Inojin Yamanaka.

4 Boruto Characters Who Cannot Defeat Inojin

Chocho Akimichi

Despite being a formidable Shinobi, Chocho Akimichi’s Partial Expansion Jutsu and Butterfly Mode are no match for Inojin’s Super Beast Scroll and Mind Transfer Jutsu.

This is due to the fact that Inojin’s jutsu enable him to attack Chocho from a distance, making it difficult for her to retaliate with her close combat techniques. The only exception is her Butterfly Mode, but using it drains a significant amount of chakra, which could become increasingly problematic as the fight goes on.

Wasabi Izuno

Team 15 member Wasabi Izuno is highly skilled in Taijutsu, enhanced by her family’s exclusive technique known as Cat Covering. Despite being the second-quickest graduate in her academy class, her speed alone will not be sufficient to defeat Inojin and his unique abilities.

As previously stated, Inojin’s techniques are most effective against adversaries who are far away. By utilizing these techniques, Inojin was able to maintain a safe distance from Wasabi and ultimately defeat her through strategic planning.

Metal Lee

Metal Lee is a highly skilled Shinobi, known for his impressive Taijutsu abilities. In addition to this, he is also proficient in Shurikenjutsu and can accurately hit targets in his blind spot. Although his Taijutsu may not be as effective in his fight against Inojin, his Shurikenjutsu could prove to be a powerful weapon and cause significant damage to Inojin.

Nonetheless, there is a crucial factor that could ultimately determine the outcome of their battle: their personalities. As ardent followers are aware, Metal Lee experiences intense anxiety during fights, whereas Inojin remains calm and collected. Therefore, Inojin may be able to exploit Metal Lee’s nervousness and emerge victorious.

Denki Kaminarimon is a title or proper name, leaving unchanged.

Denki Kaminarimon has developed into a formidable Shinobi since his first appearance in the series. His agility, strength, and skills in ninjutsu and taijutsu have significantly improved. Nevertheless, his intelligence and ability to strategize in challenging situations remain his greatest assets.

Although Denki’s intelligence may not be a significant threat to Inojin, this is due to the fact that Inojin possesses the ability to use Mind Transfer Jutsu, which would allow him to easily win a fight against Denki.
