Photos and videos of Jin attending his cousin’s wedding were shared on various online communities and social media platforms on July 6th.
In the pictures and footage, Jin can be seen donning a black suit for the wedding. Despite his hair not being fully grown out yet after his discharge, his neat and attractive appearance captured the attention of everyone. His petite face and doll-like features were particularly noticeable.
Being a global sensation, he was surrounded by wedding attendees. The netizen who posted the pictures and videos complimented Jin’s appearance, stating, “His face is incredibly small and attractive.”
Netizens responded with remarks such as “I envy their cousin for being related to Jin,””These photos almost made me a fan,”and “I was immediately impressed upon seeing him.”
Jin, who joined the army on December 13th, 2022, completed his training as a sergeant at the 5th Infantry Division’s Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province on June 12th and was discharged.
Being the first BTS member to complete his military service, Jin participated in the “2024 FESTA”and organized a hug event with approximately 1,000 fans.
Jin is getting ready to interact with fans through a variety of activities. After completing filming and eagerly awaiting its broadcast, he picked MBC’s “Half-Star Hotel in Lost Island”as his first variety show following his discharge.
On July 8th, he was named the global ambassador for the prestigious French jewelry brand Fred.
Furthermore, Jin is scheduled to leave for France in the near future as one of the chosen torchbearers for the 2024 Paris Olympics. It is speculated that his selection for the torch relay is attributed to BTS’s widespread fame and their decade-long advocacy of “Love Yourself.”
Currently, all members of BTS, with the exception of Jin, are serving in the military.
After Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook, the remaining members of BTS are scheduled to complete their military service in succession. It is anticipated that the group will resume their activities in full in 2025 once all members have been discharged.
