Insiders revealed that after Byun Woo-seok’s breakout role as Ryu Seon-jae in “Lovely Runner”, he has been receiving all the scripts for dramas and movies featuring male leads in their 20s and 30s. The sudden surge in Byun Woo-seok’s fame has even been compared to the popularity of Bae Yong-joon after his performance in “Winter Sonata”22 years ago, according to a producer.

The actor’s popularity has led to a surge of people, resulting in congestion at both Incheon International Airport in Korea and Taoyuan International Airport in Taiwan during his departures and arrivals.
