Submersion serves as an excellent alternative for players seeking a reliable fire-and-forget DPS tool. Combat Bows are designed for sustained damage rather than quick bursts, utilizing the unique Persistence stat to maintain a lodged bolt in enemies for ongoing tick damage.

To optimize Submersion’s performance, equipping Empowered Rail enhances Persistence, while Charged Bolts improves tick damage. This combination ensures that you can maximize your damage output effectively.

Since you’ll want to focus on other DPS sources between shots, the Auto-Loading Holster perk allows for seamless weapon swapping and automatic reloading. However, be advised that once Iron Banner ends on September 23, you’ll need to wait for the next Weekly Event to have another opportunity to get Submersion drops.
