Featured Exotic Weapon – Finality’s Augur

Finality’s Auger showcases a distinctive secondary firing mode.
- Archetype: Solar Fusion Rifle
- Exotic Perks: Ruinscribe’s Forge, Ruinscribe’s Beacon
- Catalyst: Bait and Switch
Finality’s Auger becomes available as a drop in the concluding encounter of Sundered Doctrine. Players can enhance the likelihood of its appearance by completing various challenges throughout the dungeon.
This Exotic weapon is distinctively unique, functioning as a Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle that features two firing modes: the standard projectile fire and an advanced mode that deploys a Runescribe Turret, consuming three shots in the process. Upon being placed, the turret targets nearby foes with Solar-based projectiles that detonate upon impact, affecting multiple enemies at once. For a thorough exploration of its mechanics, refer to our detailed breakdown of Finality’s Auger.
Legendary Weapons and Their Potential Perks
This dungeon introduces four new exclusive Legendary weapons. Historically, Dungeon weapons tend to be among the most powerful and innovative gear options available in the game, and Sundered Doctrine continues this tradition.
Unloved distinguishes itself as a first-of-its-kind Heavy Burst Hand Cannon utilizing the Strand element with a unique perk set applicable in both PvE and PvP contexts. This marks a significant development for the archetype, as it is the inaugural representation of Strand within this category.
In contrast, while Unworthy may not offer a visually unique archetype, it can roll some highly sought-after combinations, including Firefly + Voltshot and Outlaw + Kill Clip.

Dungeon Armor Sets
As per the standard configuration for Dungeons, players can acquire three distinct armor sets — one for each class: Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks. The design of these sets is similar to the aesthetic seen in Lightfall’s Root of Nightmares Raid. Completing Sundered Doctrine at the Master difficulty level affords players the chance to receive Artifice armor as well.

New Origin Trait: Subjugation
The Sundered Doctrine also introduces an innovative Origin Trait called Subjugation, which is exclusive to the Dungeon’s weaponry. The trait provides distinct effects based on the type of target being engaged:
- Against weaker targets, shots will explode upon impact.
- In combat with stronger enemies, they will become exhausted.
- When targeting Guardians, the weapon will gain enhanced flinch resistance.
- Exhausted targets produce less outgoing damage.

The effects of Subjugation vary depending on the type of target.
Farming Opportunities in Sundered Doctrine
As of now, Sundered Doctrine is not available for farming. However, plans are in place to include it in the future featured Raid & Dungeon rotation. For the time being, players can obtain loot from each encounter once a week per character.
