Fans may be treated to a reunion of the Defenders in Season 2, especially considering the dramatic cliffhanger at the conclusion of the first season. Throughout Season 1, Fisk manipulates the city, capturing or eliminating vigilantes, which sets the stage for Matt to assemble a coalition to counter this threat—potentially reintroducing Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Krysten Ritter expressed her enthusiasm for reprising her role as Jessica Jones, stating, “I get asked about it almost every day. We remain cautiously optimistic. If they asked me, I would be there ready.”Mike Colter, who portrays Luke Cage, also shared his eagerness for a potential return, voicing hope for the future.

Finn Jones, the actor behind Iron Fist, shared his desire for redemption in the role, stating his readiness to prove critics wrong.
