The music video for Lee Young-Ji’s latest single “Small Girl”featuring EXO’s D.O. was released on her YouTube channel on June 21st.
On the same day, Lee released her new EP titled “16 FANTASY.”The title track, “Small Girl,”featured EXO member and actor Do Kyung-soo. A live version of the song was released earlier, providing a sneak peek of their chemistry.
“Lee Young-ji’s original song, “Small Girl,”is a personal and heartfelt account of a tall girl’s journey. Through her lyrics, Lee Young-ji poses candid questions such as “Am I too tall for you?””Can you still love me despite my small girl fantasy?”and “Do you promise to love me even with my big laugh, big voice, and big personality?”The song reflects her own experiences and raw emotion.”
Do Kyung-soo replies with genuine words such as “I agree, you’re spending your time on trivial matters,””I remain unchanged regardless of your actions,””There were no additional requirements to begin with,”and “I have no unrealistic expectations, my dear.”

The music video captured viewers’ attention as the two artists portrayed lovers whose story perfectly aligns with the lyrics. Their chemistry was evident throughout the video, especially as they worked part-time together. However, things took an interesting turn when a new female part-timer, who was noticeably shorter, joined the team. This sparked growing concern from Lee Young-ji about her own height.
Despite this, Do Kyung-soo still shows genuine concern for Lee Young-ji’s worries, and the two reaffirm their feelings for each other. Do Kyung-soo goes the extra mile and surprises Lee Young-ji with a kiss on the cheek, resulting in her shouting in embarrassment and running away, much to the amusement of viewers.
The online community is abuzz with enthusiastic responses, including comments like “I’m swooning over their final kiss,””Adorable,””I can’t contain my excitement,””Do Kyung-soo and Young-ji make such an adorable pair,”and “The lyrics are really empowering.”
