While players eagerly await a second GTA 6 trailer, many fans have already drawn conclusions about the game’s upcoming story.
The highly anticipated first trailer for GTA 6 is now behind us, but since its release, the community has continued to rewatch the video as it slowly approaches 200 million views.
While GTA 6 fans were fascinated by the first glimpse of Vice City, as well as Lucia, the community spotted many details that went unnoticed, such as the possible new transportation system or many classic and new cars.
However, there is one detail that cannot go unnoticed, and that is the story that GTA 6 will tell.
As of yet, Rockstar hasn’t revealed anything beyond the first trailer, but many fans have already shared their opinions in a post created by user ‘V1nce’ on Reddit.
Several players commented on their different perspectives on how GTA 6’s story will play out, but none garnered more upvotes than ‘WhatAreYouSaying05’s’ comment.
The user detailed that, beyond the “crazy and ridiculous” aspect of the trailer, it seems that the scenes between the main characters “have a serious tone.”
Another player went further and commented: “I expect the story to be very dark and tragic,” adding that it should be that way since GTA 5 was about the madness of American culture, “and now it is time to see the “consequences of this.”
On the other hand, some fans think that Rockstar could draw inspiration from stories from other games, like Red Dead Redemption for example. Regarding this, one fan commented that he would like to see “something darker like Red Dead, but it’s hard to think that won’t be mitigated by some GTA-style humor.”
Finally, some players think that Rockstar could bring back the atmospheres of previous games. “It’s going to have more of a GTA 4 vibe in my opinion. I think we will be immersed in the main characters, and it will be an emotional journey,” says user Rari-Gang.
However, there is still a long way to go before we know what Rockstar has prepared for Lucia’s big story in GTA 6.
