Virtual idol Hatsune Miku continues to collaborate with major brands and franchises to broaden her presence in popular culture. Already in 2025, she has graced the gaming world as a promotional face for an ASUS ROG gaming setup, appeared in Fortnite as a character skin, and made her cinematic debut with a film of her own.
Recently, she concluded her Magical Mirai 2025 tour, which not only commemorated her 13th anniversary but also celebrated her 18th birthday on August 31, with concerts taking place across Japan.
The Exciting Announcement: Hatsune Miku and Pokémon Live Concert
In a thrilling development coinciding with the second anniversary of the Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE collaboration, it has been announced that Miku and Pokémon will take their partnership to the next level with an exhilarating live concert.
Titled Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku VOLTAGE Live!, the event is scheduled to unfold at LaLa arena Tokyo Bay in Chiba, Japan, from March 20 to March 22, 2026. A promotional trailer was recently unveiled that showcased iconic characters, including Meloetta’s Aria Forme and the beloved Pikachu.
During the concert, Hatsune Miku will make a spectacular entrance, joining forces with Meloetta in a performance that promises to delight fans of both franchises.
The event, while still a few months away, has generated considerable buzz. Interested attendees can find further insights in the official announcement. Over three unforgettable days, the concert will feature both daytime and evening performances. Spectacular 3D displays will feature Hatsune Miku alongside other fan-favorite Piapro Characters such as Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, KAITO, and the charming Kasane Teto.
Additionally, the Pokémon side will showcase appearances from Pikachu and Meloetta, with the excitement of more Pokémon making surprise guest appearances throughout the show.
The concert’s setlist will feature a range of popular tracks from the Pokémon feat. Hatsune Miku Project VOLTAGE, as well as selections from the ongoing Project VOLTAGE High continuation.
Ticket sales will commence through a lottery system starting September 1, 2025. Pricing will vary, with tickets ranging from $26 USD (¥3, 900) to $94 USD (¥13, 900).Exclusive Pokémon × Hatsune Miku merchandise will also be available at Pokémon Center locations throughout Japan, providing fans with unique commemorative items.
